(Spoilers extended) Is anyone else in the camp that S7 is probably worse than S8?
Post Body

Title. Before you explode with rage, lemme explain.

I think that S8’s resolution to all of the shows major arcs, themes and plots was absolutely atrocious, because of course it was. It’s just hilariously bad and a total trainwreck.

However I think that the individual plots in S7 are way worse. The fake Arya-Sansa rivalry is the worst plotline in the show for me, it actually enrages me whenever I rewatch it. I did recently with my girlfriend and I was gritting my teeth and groaning in anger.

I think that this is where the characters are at their stupidest. The Tyrion, Jaime and Cersei meetup scenes are so idiotic. Cersei implies that she knew about Tyrion being there, so why didn’t she just kill him, blame it on Bronn for inviting him in and be rid of two problems at once? That’s what book Cersei would do.

It’s also directly in the fallout of the Sept of Baelor, but Cersei never feels any consequences from the smallfolk because they absolutely had to have her as the final boss

And lets not forget the beyond the wall plot, which I don’t even need to explain.
