Ok, so the South is in a decent amount of turmoil - with enough War to make Hitler blush and enough disconnect from honour and brotherhood that any strong-willed and disciplined opponent may march on through and claim what they will, by force.
So we know, for sure, that some of this is planned by players in the game (apparently) people like Bolton, Petyr, Tyrells and many other parties have vested interest in the causation of imbalance and general chaos that Westeros is undertaking and that some motives (for the meantime) appear quite straightforward or for direct ascendancy of themselves within the Game Of Thrones, but is that all that's sustaining these players?
Think, just for a moment, could The Others or someone in their power//influence have contributed or conscripted towards some of the disjointed and current nature of The Realm? To perhaps soften up any opposition The Others and their Wights might encounter during their Southern Invasion of Winter. Or is it all just a matter of graciously apt timing and fortune that The Others have mounted and staged attacks and advancements during this ripe age of times for conquer?
TLDR - Do you think The Others, or someone working for them have conspired towards the realms current level of chaos, instability and susceptibility to invasion?
