Hi.. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice for doing ASL classes..
I am hearing. I'm starting ASL classes at my local community college. I would like to learn to be able to talk to customers at work. I would also like to make new friends...expand my horizons.
I've also been teaching my dog ASL and would love to try and get us to be volunteer therapy at hospitals and stuff and make someone's day by my dog being able to understand them (she knows sit/lay/paw/blue/ ball/yes/no)
Prior I have been taking some online classes, I did Lingvano for a bit and when my year expired I moved on to watching Bill Vicars videos online.
I personally feel like in person classes will help me because I'll have someone to practice with and be able to gain speed and confidence.
But as with starting all new things I'm getting unreasonably nervous and therefore here I am asking for advice/tips.
Thank you in advance!
