So I [M27] dated a girl [F25]like 3 years ago, the date didn’t went really well. I tried to set a second date and she avoided every time. We met at the gym again multiple times 3 months ago, I ask her out and she flakes again and I stop texting her. Like one month back she started texting me mostly to go to the gym together where we talk between exercises. I ask her out for an ice cream and walk, she says yes. We had a good time, didn’t lasted long because she had another appointment, no kiss as it was after gym. Anyway during this month she has shown interest in me, we hit the gym together and have nice talks, we had ice cream together and stuff. Today, she asked if I was giving to the gym. At the end I ask her out for dinner and she flakes by telling me that on Friday’s she’s usually with her boyfriend.

Was she playing with me? I’m not mad nor angry, I feel good because at the end this experience help me improve for future girls. But I don’t understand what she was looking for by showing interest. What did I do wrong, what can I learn from this and improve?
