This Friday is my friends birthday. She is in another city tho, not too far away, like 2.5 hours with bus. The problem is, my Christmas holidays start only on Sunday, after work. There I have 3 options: go to the birthday and come back early Saturday morning, to work for two days (I really don't want to do this, as I would waste alot of money and time on bus).

Second option is to ask to start my Christmas holidays sooner, but I know my coworker would freak out and play victim and bitch about this for ages.

Third is just go on my Christmas vacation on Thursday after work, and lie about being sick. I planned to do this, because my coworker lies all the time and she would deserve this, but I cant help but feel bad about it. And also, I don't want to get in trouble, if she finds out. Fourth option is to not go to the birthday, but I really want to go. And I have had to cancel so many times because of my dead end job, that alot of my friends doesn't even bother inviting me anymore.

TL;DR I really want to go to my friends birthday, but its in unconvenient place/ time.
