I (25m) am starting work at my local sex shop for the winter. I'm a frequent customer so the staff knows me decently. My boss mentioned that I might have trouble with women. She said they might straight up ignore me or any help I try to give them, and if we don't have a female associate at the time, then there's nothing we can do. I totally get it, the sex life is a sensitive topic. I wanted to know if anyone has any tips on how to midigate this and make me more approachable on the topics they want to discuss. I know I can't get rid of the issue entirely, I just want to midigate it. Any ideas?
