Its a questions thats randomly been raddling in my head for all my life. What exactly are the specific limits on public urination here? I can assume I'll get fined if I pee behind a building or a sign, but what about in the woods? If I'm walking down Alouette Lake and I walk into the woods to take a leak, can an overzealous cop fine me? What exactly is the cutoff between fine and not fine? Or if the legal answer is "never allowed", what would you consider a reasonable moral cutoff? 5 minutes walk off the trail? 10 minutes? never?
I realize that you probably don't have direct experience with this, but being a "visibly homeless" individual and trying to access a business' bathroom is pretty Mission Impossible
