I got a promotional email for the Vancouver Christmas market for early-bird-tickets, and was shocked at the prices. Having recently returned from Europe, I don’t understand how everything you do here has to have a charge. I’ve been to the best Christmas markets in Germany and they were all free. Why do I need to pay almost $25-35 entrance fee ticket for then to spend even more inside. If anything, it will deter me from spending even more on crafts/food etc.
