TL;DR how do you get rid of stubborn facial hair? I've tried shaving multiple different ways and want it gone.

Hi everyone. I'm not sure if I actually fit in this subreddit as I don't know if I'd identify as trans for a while, and I'm actually leaning more towards settling on nonbinary/genderfluid. But I at least know I'm not cis lol. Anyway. I hope this is a place I can ask! It's the first one that came to mind.

I'm AMAB, with relatively quick-growing face and body hair. I can shave off the body hair but even when I shave the facial hair every day, sometimes twice a day, there's always a visible "fuzz," or five-o'clock shadow, especially over my upper lip and chin. I've tried multiple different razors and shaving gels/creams. I also bought a face-waxing kit but today I found out you're not supposed to wax beard hairs out? Ugh.

If it's relevant, I'm South Asian (Indian origin), and my hair is generally very thick and curly. My facial hair gets like that when I grow a beard out too. (It looked awful.)

I'm really frustrated because removing my facial/body hair was supposed to be the first step in me being able to come out as nonbinary. I feel so much better without this stupid face fuzz. As far as I can tell the only options left are 1. using an electric trimmer, or 2. electrolysis. Has anyone had any success with electric trimmers/razors? Electrolysis is expensive as hell so I'd rather not do that right now, but I don't know what else to do.

P.S.: I'm sorry if I'm not supposed to use AMAB/AFAB here! I understand how bad they can be as terms, I just wasn't sure how else to explain that I grow a lot of facial hair lol.
