This comes up a lot, but i'm curious as to everyones opinion. When do you disclose your trans status?
Post Body

For example, dating cis people, when do you tell a potential partner?

What do you do if you're post-op? Do you not say anything?

Personally my thought is that for pre-op, for your own safety(sadly) you should probably disclose before sex, if thats a week, a month, or a year it doesn't matter, until you can trust someone with something highly personal, they shouldn't get to know.

for post-op, I don't think you need to disclose at all if you don't want to, I probably would for the sake of openness, but I'd take my sweet time.

This question is usually aimed at MtF's but i'm sure FtM's have the same issues.

Anyway, Thoughts?
