Thanks in advance for helping with this.
I have made a new friend who identifies as NB using they pronouns. All is great 😊.
I need to write to them and have found myself in a web of uncertainty.
Does NB identity and the language used to support it, require the use of certain plural modifiers in language? They clearly don’t need “rooms” but is it correct to say “they both….” “You are both…” etc.
Am I inviting “both of” them to dinner? I.e. ABCxyz formally invites you both to dinner. (This isn’t the real example, I could write around this specific issue. However, it is a good proxy).
Thank you
