i'm a 30 years old trans woman; when i was born, i was legally assiged female at birth until the doctor noticed about 10 minutes later i had very small testes.

i was then assigned male at birth, and my name changed from my birth name (the name i go by now) to my deadname.

picking my name was easy, because i didn't really have it pick it; it was my legitimate name. and i always knew my deadname felt very weird or off to me (it's gender neutral'ish but leans more towards masc).

anways, my puberty was pretty late, i never grew very tall (i'm 5'4", before hormones was almost 5'6" kinda), and my voice didn't deepen forever, so i remember forcing it to deepen from middle school through the end of highschool and i was seen as fairly feminine until mid highschool.

i've been on hormones for just a little over two years and my entire body shape has changed dramatically; i went from being a lowkey body builder from being in the military to having what is essentially an hourglass figure. i'm pretty dang positive my hips have widened, though i'm not sure because i've heard it fuses in your mid 20's. i trained my voice myself and it was probably the easiest part of my transition, it sounds naturally cis.

testosterone did affect my body, primarily my body hair, which is all gone now, minus a tiny bit of chest hair that is mostly vellus now. and of course facial hair.

but i pass very easily now.

is it possible i'm intersex, or just genetically lucky? i don't mean to write this post to come off as bragging or anything like that, beginning of transition was rough as hell, but it's just all these things together make me super suspicious.
