So yes, I get it, Iām under my momās insurance, so thereās bound to be limitations. But hereās what I donāt get.
Cigna Nationwide policy is that GRS is a medically necessary operation and is fully covered. These statements and documents are pretty easy to find online.
But for some dumb reason any company can just opt out of providing a certain type of coverage to create a-la-carte plans for their employees.
So if all of the companies opt out, Cigna, then youāre not exactly āon our side.ā What gives? Either itās medically necessary and you always cover it or at least be honest about your policy and call it cosmetic because thatās how youāre treating it anyways.
TL;DR: fuck confusing private health insurance and Cigna gets no āally pointsā for their BS
