I'm hoping to get some advice/ hear the stories of older members of the community who have struggled and made it through.

I thought I had a stable job and could start to transition knowing I was going to lose my family's support. Right after I let my family know that I'm starting to transition I lost my job without any notice. Now I have no family support, I can't find another job, I barely have money for food and gas, and I certainly can't afford my rent due on the first. How do I get through this? How does this get better?
