Questions about starting transgender care with va outpatient clinic

Post Body

I'm about 50mi from the SF VA hospital, but only 10min from the outpatient clinic where I normally go for my yearly physical. After self-medicating on/off the last 2 years (no judgement please) I'm ready to make it official.

Have any veterans used their outpatient clinic for starting their transition?

What's the process like? (Informed consent? Therapy, then recommendation to endo? etc..)

Is it pretty straightforward or will I be jumping through hoops?
