I know this has been asked to death on here, but I’m going to reach out because I need the latest information.i am from Australia and have top hospital insurance with NIB. I am planning towards getting SRS and possibly FFS in the next couple of years and need advice specifically:

• surgeon recommendations, best value for money. I don’t need a celebrity surgeon name and price tag for either procedure, but am happy to pay what I need for quality results. I was looking at Dr Supporn in Thailand for SRS but he is retiring and facial team in Spain, but don’t know if I could get the same/better results somewhere else for less money?
• are there quality surgeons in Australia people have had experience with? I’m happy to go overseas if I have to, but staying in my home country and possibly claims some of the fees on insurance would be a plus. But only if people consider the quality of surgeons here to be pretty good. I have heard of Dr Ives in Melbourne for SRS but don’t know much about his work.
• what ball park figures did people end up paying out of pocket for srs and ffs?
• also for people in Australia who have had surgery here, any advice on best health insurance providers and what you were able to claim,
