Help! I'm a college student and I'm the GSA's new Secretary. I've never been one before.

So, our whole entire cabinet is full of new people, so we are all winging it the best we can. I've never been in a leadership role before and wanted to know if anyone else here has tips they could share with me. As the club's secretary, am I in charge of sending emails or is there more to it?
