What does it mean to be biologically/socially male or female?
Post Body

Hi, I'm 19 AMAB. I recently came out to my parents via a long explanatory text where I shared my thoughts, feelings, experiences and desires, etc regarding being transgender. Whilst my parents are supportive, my mum said in her reply:

"We will have to explore this from different angles, especially the meaning of 'transgender' and what it means to be male or female biologically and socially."

This has had me thinking, as even though I'm AMAB and have been raised and lived as a man for 19 years I couldn't even answer it for the male part. So I wanted to see what others opinions on this were so I could get a better understanding of it myself.

Also I'm writing this sleep-deprived so I'm sorry if any of this makes no sense!
