Contemplating adopting a more "genderbender" style in clothing (cis gay guy)
Post Body

Hello my trans friends! With the Supreme Court's ruling the other day about presidential impunity and the possibility of Trump being president again and all that entails for us LGBT people, I've been thinking about what I can do to get more involved and help us, especially trans people. I am definitely getting involved in local politics more. It occurred to me that possibly adopting a more gender bending style of dress might be one of those ways? Maybe it might help any trans people I encounter in my daily life feel acknowledged and not so alone? Maybe even help some thar are still in the closet? Also, there's definitely an element of me that wants to do this just to piss off the right wing fuckers.

Does this seem stupid? Would it be insulting to trans people? For reference I live in Billings, Montana, USA, which is pretty conservative, I am already pretty feminine in my mannerisms, and I do drag here and there. I just want to do my part to help our community in the face of this political landscape, especially my trans brothers and sisters. Let me know your thoughts! Thanks!
