Advice on dealing with body hair (MTF, pre-HRT)?

Hey! I'll hopefully be starting HRT soon (I'm 29) but in the intervening time, I'd like something to deal with my body hair. Right now I shave with a regular razor and shaving cream, head to toe, once every 1-2 weeks, but I'd prefer something quicker/easier if possible. I'm getting laser on my face atm but I can't get it on my body at the moment.

Do body/"manscaping" trimmers work well for anyone else? My hair is black, on tan skin (I'm South Asian), so I know it won't be invisible, but I'd just like my skin to appear/feel a little smoother.

I'm leaning towards the Philips Norelco Bodygroomer, around $100, anyone have any experience with that? Thanks!
