Estradiol Valerate injections question

I've been doing injections for just over 2 months now and when the nurse taught me how to do them, she instructed me to give .25 ml subcutaneously (5mg total) weekly. Now, I've just noticed my medication says "into the muscle" and the packaging says "for intramuscular use only". Is there any problem with me having done subcutaneous?
