Is it possible to have allergic reactions to injections in only specific areas?
Post Body

I'm doing sub q injections for my e. I did 4 weeks in my thighs with no problems, but I'm really thin and got more blood than normal last time, so I decided to try my stomach today since there's a little more to pinch there. Almost immediately after and still now an hour after, I have a red mark in the direction of the injection and a burning pain if I put pressure on that spot. It feels like it may be an allergic reaction, but I didn't have this problem on my thighs at all. The only other thing I can think is if I maybe just did a really bad job injecting and the needle was moving while injecting?

UPDATE: Hours later, the redness went away, but its still painful to the touch and there's a bump in the direction I injected (injected at a 45) so it's almost like the E is causing a bump
