:) I appreciate y’all in advance. This new partner and their son are very important to my friend. Hence them asking me to ask. I have a friend who is dating someone who has a transgender son, the age of the son is unknown. But the son is trans boy. My friend is very anxious and nervous person so I knew they weren’t going to ask, so I am trying to reach out for them. They do not know how to talk to you or approach the partners son, because this is the first person my friend has encountered someone who is transgender. And my friend does not want to say something inappropriate or anything to hurt their feelings or anything like that. So I was going to come on Reddit to ask trans folks who live it every day what are the most important things that my friend needs to take away and Not step on toes are make the son feel uncomfortable or anything like that.
