Is it possible to prevent penile atrophy entirely one MtF HRT?

I am thinking about going on mtf hrt as that is what I want for myself, but I really do not want to lose my penis, as I am quite proud of it. I've heard that you can reduce atrophy by inducing regular erections, but is it possible to prevent it entirely? Whether or not it is, what is the best way to reduce/prevent atrophy?
