Hey everyone, 28 year old AMAB NB person here but for the sake of simplicity I'll just use MtF since I'm considering taking estrogen.

Right now I have some genital dysphoria. It's basically just related to sex. (I haven't had sex since coming out and I don't even know how it would work now.) Otherwise, I don't think about my penis. I would have surgery tomorrow if it was painless and without complications, but I'm terrified of going under the knife, of complications, etc. I'm even scared of having to dilate for life. Not to say others should be – this is strictly a Me Problem.

So, those of you who took estrogen, did your desire for bottom surgery change or lessen as you took hormones? Did you suffer more or less genital dysphoria as time went on? If I could even get to a stage where I was "okay" with my penis, that's fine with me – I know sex isn't all about your genitals!
