If your parents were your age, would they be your friends?

Just wondering if you'd be friends with your parents or would they treat you like the world does.
UPDATE: Like many of you, I wouldn't necessarily consider my parents as friends if I were to meet them If they were my age. They would be the type of individuals I would tend to avoid, or perhaps they would avoid me. Nevertheless, there are a fortunate few among you who can confidently say that you would be friends or even best friends with your parents if they were your age.
