I’m from the south and I’ve been out to my family as transfem for about 3 years and it was incredibly rough for the first 2, but they eventually came around to accepting it. I’ve been kinda scared/conscious about doing so with my extended family because there’s a lot of them and while I don’t think they’d ever hate or be disgusted with me, I still have no clue how they’d react. I wanna try to bridge that gap though when I go down to visit in a couple months. Anything I should consider? Or how do I go about like telling them and working towards a calmer response I guess?
