Hi there. MtF here. This question has been bugging me for a while... It's about the age old changeroom thing.
Post Body

Sooooo I'm just gonna say I don't want to live my life in fear, y'know? I want to have a good life and have a good time here on this rock floating in space :) One of the things I ABSOLUTELY want to do is go swimming! The water is great, and I am definitely amphibious!

Anyway, after countless hours thinking about the swimsuit problem, my Mum suggested wearing one with like a skirt. (I'm non-op)

But that leaves me with the changeroom problems. See, I have been on HRT for 2 years now, and I definitely can't go shirtless anymore. Sooooo which changeroom do I go in?

I wouldn't MIND going in the male one, BUT if I stroll into a male changeroom, with long hair, female body AND a female swimsuit, I'm probably going to have problems. Even that by itself is a problem, but then to add on to it, I haven't worked on/care about my voice too much, I'll probably face transphobia.

I'm not even going to dare go into the Women's changerooms... my voice, non-op, etc will cause BIG problems. (My Grandma told me last night she doesn't want someone like me in her bathrooms.) Anyway, where do I change out of my swimsuit???

Yes I have thought about family/gender neutral changerooms. My local swimming pools have them. But for places like a resort or something, the 2 I've been to don't have family/gender neutral changerooms. This post is mostly about the resorts as there's been talk about it in my family. I don't want to NOT go cause I am trans!
