Okay, I'm sorry if I sound ignorant but I'm curious and just honestly want to know so I can know better... So, my entire life I was under the impression that when someone was transgendered it meant that they underwent surgery and procedures to not only change appearance but to change genitals to that of the gender they're transitioning to as well (ie penis transitioned into a vagina and vice versa) but I still see a lot of trans people with the genitals of the gender they transitioned from while having the appearance of the gender that they transitioned into, so I was just curious if that's just the normal procedure, or is there another identifying term for someone who has had a full transition, genitals and all? Sorry if this has already been asked...
