For me it's the tale of the black carriage of Horst.
There is a castle, the Castle of Horst which used to be the property of the lord of Rode. He had a chapel built and told the priest never to begin mass without him. One day he was out hunting and saw a great big hare. He fired at it but he never managed to hit it. Then the hare stood up and told him that he would never make it back in time for mass. The lord rode back to the castle but mass had already ended and enraged he shot the priest (although accounts vary with what he shot him) The priest died and the lord became cursed and people started to avoid the castle. One day a black carriage rode into the castle and took the lord away.
It is said if you go to the castle at midnight you can still see the carriage with it's six black horses, and the devil himself holding the reins.
