So I’ve always been a nobody in school and even bullied in the last 4-5 years. However, I’m giving finals now and I’ll be going to college in a few months. This is more about the relationships I have with people. I’ve had 2 ex’s and decided not to get into anymore relationships because of my past experiences (at least not before I go off to college). And I recently learnt 2 guys really like me. One is a guy I met about 8th month ago (he’s a year younger) and one is my childhood best friend who I recently reconnected with.

Here’s where it gets difficult: I like the guy who’s a year younger than me but I said no relationship because I know a long distant wouldn’t work out and neither would an open relationship. I hurt both of us pretty badly in the process but I’m still good friends with him. I do feel my relationship with the guy I like is beginning to get mildly toxic because we both seem on edge with each other or maybe simply passive aggressive and I feel I might ruin the relationship as weaken it before I go off to college (which I don’t want)

Now my childhood best friend: He’s been open to hooking up and not necessarily a relationship and even supported me and encouraged me to date the other guy. I feel like I’m hurting him but I don’t think he’s very honest about how bad or hurt he feels in this situation. I most definitely don’t want to lose a childhood bff who I reconnected with after years or not meeting or being in touch with.

At the same time I don’t want to feel like I’m misleading them because I’m mildly flirty with both of them. I also feel I’ve hurt both of them and I don’t know what to do. Someone please give me some advice!!
