Hi All,
I'm planning to move to Switzerland (Zurich most likely), from London with family in few years time. I'm a bit concerned about my children's language switch.
1) do Swiss schools provide language transition classes for children about 8-10 years old moving from other countries?
I assume yes. If yes, I'm not quite sure how long such a switch lasts and how effective it is.
My children do not speak any German/French, but before we move I can organize some classes to ease the pain for them.
2) is Hoch Deutsch or Schweiz Deutsch tought at primary/secondary school? I assume it's Hoch Deutsche, but I might be wrong here.
Did anyone here went through similar exercise and can share some 1st hand thoughts/observations?
