Hi all! I’d like to ask which areas or activities you recommend, as we will be going to Switzerland for four days next April! I’m sharing our draft itinerary, and feel free to make recommendations. We’d like to feel like locals and hopefully meet amazing people while we’re there! (Single ladies here, haha.) We’re also open to trying local food or visiting pubs to meet people. We’ll be using the unlimited train pass.
April 14 – Arrival in Zurich (2020H)
- Take a train going to Bern
- Check-in: Hotel in Bern
- Rest and be ready for Day 1
April 15 – Iseltwald and Grindelwald
- Take a train from Bern (0834H) > Interlaken Ost (0928H) > walk towards Interlaken Ost (See)
- Aboard a cruise from Interlaken Ost See (1007H) > Iseltwald See (1045H)
- To see: Crash Landing on You “Landing Stage”
- Take B103 bus from Iseltwald, Dorfplatz (1156H) > Interlaken Ost > Grindelwald Terminal (1304H)
- Walk around Grindelwald village then go up to Grindelwald First – Top of Adventure
- Activities: Tissot First Cliff Walk, Mountain Kart, First Flyer, Trotti Bike
April 16 – Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen
- Take a train from Bern (0834H) > Interlaken Ost (0928H) > Lauterbrunnen (0956H)
- Walking Tour: Lauterbrunnen Guide
- Take (1432H) train from Lauterbrunnen to Interlaken Ost (1454H)
- Walk to landing point Höhematte – across Hotel Victoria Jungfrau for the paragliding experience!
- To see: Lauterbrunnen valleys, falls
- Activities: Mini Hiking, Paragliding
- Optional: Biking around Lauterbrunnen (Rental: Imboden Bike)
April 17 – Luzern / Zermat? Feel free to suggest!
April 18 – Transfer from Switzerland to Milan
