Admission to EPFL master degree with low undergrad GPA but with working experience?

Post Body

I did not do well in my undergraduate studies, due to some family issue. My overall GPA through entire bsc is 2.52/4 from a Canadian University. Having aware of this, I have applied for a research thesis at my last year and I was very lucky to be accepted by a professor, where I have conducted 3 semesters of research. At my last year, I have achieved a term GPA of 3.0/4 and 3.5/4 but this does not compensate with the previous failure. After graduation, I worked as a RA at a research lab for 2.5 years. Recently I am considering to continue my pursuit in academic and applying for a masters degree and hopefully to get PhD admission eventually. I am very concerned with my low performance but I have 2 published papers (from undergrad research and work) and I could have 3 reference letters from my undergrad professors/supervisor and my supervisor at work. Considering the downsides but compensate working experience, should I consider applying for the masters in EPFL?
