Post Body

Hi everyone, quick question: I've never been to Switzerland. I'm going there for 2 full days from Munich, and on the third day, I'm flying out to Italy early in the morning from Zurich. My hotel is in Grindelwald.

I was wondering if I should:

  1. Explore Grindelwald and nearby towns (Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen) on the first day.
  2. Take a train to Lucerne on the second day and return to Grindelwald at night.

I'm taking my mom, and she really wants to see Lucerne. Does this plan make logical sense? Is it worth dedicating one day to Lucerne, or should I spend both full days in Grindelwald and the surrounding area?

Any advice would be appreciated :)
