Post Body

My husband and children are Swiss citizens, I am a third country national (New Zealand and UK).

We all live in New Zealand, but are looking at options to migrate together following a visit there last year.

I can’t find information about the process to apply for this visa if the Swiss citizen isn’t yet a resident there? Does my husband need to go ahead and establish residency first? Or can we apply from New Zealand and travel together?

Does anyone know if the suitable housing and language criteria apply to me as well? It’s not clear if that is just for those applying on the basis of an existing resident visa or if it is for all.

If anyone has migrated using this visa pathway recently I would appreciate any advice or insight.
