Hi Swiss people! I'm a 17-year old from the Netherlands going on a road trip with my dad this summer. The major cities we're visiting are Lucerne, Florence and lastly we have a hostel in between Geneva and Lausanne. Mainly because I wanted to visit CERN, but I also still want to see things around the two cities and lake Geneva. I would love to get some recommendations for things to visit in and around Lausanne and Geneva. Our hostel is near Founex.
I would love to have some recommendations for the must sees but also some less overrated locations. Also things like Hiking trails and castles outside of the cities around the mountains would be amazing. But also underrated and great places to visit in both Lausanne and Geneva, oh and Lucerne too. I like art museums, architecture and other old places. We have 4 nights in the hostel in Founex and 1 day in Lucerne.
So that's about it. Any recommendations of must sees and underrated places in and around Geneva/Lausanne and in Lucerne are highly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
