Travelling to Basel with EU currency

Hi all! I’m travelling to Basel Switzerland from within EU region. I land at Mulhouse airport which is in France. I need to use the local public transportation to reach the Basel city. What do I do to make the transactions smoother since both the countries have different currency. I don’t want to spend on transactional costs everywhere unnecessarily.
