Hi all,

I’m moving to Vaud and based on my work contract, I have to live in Vaud. I’m looking at various places online but am not sure where to focus my property search (I’ll be renting). My company is based just south of Nyon so I’m not sure if it is worth living further north say towards Lausanne or if I will just be fighting horrific traffic to get into the office.

What areas would you suggest? We are outdoorsy and not really city people and are bringing our dog. Any places we should steer clear of?

Any recommendations for a bank? I know some banks in the UK don’t like giving accounts to Americans. I’m a dual U.S./UK citizen.
