Tips for a international student in Msc AI to get job + permanently settled and integrate
Post Body

So I got into UZH Msc AI program and I am already studying hard before even getting here to Switzerland.

I am inclined to make switzerland my permanent home (Don't worry I plan on integrating culturally and learn the languages as well). However there is just one hiccup, I found out that I would have 6 months to find job here and most companies are against hiring international students.

I know this is a luck game but I want to maximise my chances. Any international student who were able to secure jobs post graduation help me?

What tips beyond the basic (CV optimisation, Networking etc) can I do to stay here.

Questions like 1. Which companies are likely to sponsor international students ?

  1. What regions/cantons are most favorable for getting a sponsored job ?

  2. Which type of coursework (AI is a big field I have a economics minor planed) is more likely to get me sponsored

  3. Also would it possible to start my own company get funding in a startup accelerator and stay?

  4. Swiss work culture or customs that could aid me?

Thank you very much, I intend to be a positive member of swiss society and would love to integrate.
