What's a 'sac a viande' -- context school camp..

I'm guessing it's some kind of sleeping bag or cover for a sleeping bag ? I've never seen this term before..
My kid is going for a week hiking with school .. The leaflet says .. "d'un sac à viande ou une fourre de duvet indispensable pour dormir en cabane (les couvertures sont fournies dans chaque cabane) "
I'm guessing this means each cabin they'll sleep in has covers .. but they should take a cover to cover the covers??
