How does the sauce on pizzas compare to the actual fruit?
Post Body
I understand that the school pizzas being discussed today are probably unhealthy in general due to fat/sodium/what have you, but considering just the sauce, how nutritious is it? Can it be part of a balanced diet?
The british NHS considers "one medium tomato or seven cherry tomatoes" to be a portion of fruit/veg to count towards your minimum recommended five-a-day. Is there this much tomato in the pizza sauce? Are the nutrients intact?
