Suppose two identical (in mass and Schwarzschild) black holes, 'a' and 'b', are approaching eachother, with a light source maintaining equidistance between the two, radiating orthogonal to the line through the centres of mass of the two black holes. I can't get my head around what would happen, with regards to the emitted light, when;
a) the light source is on the very edge of the schwarzschild radii of both black holes.
b) when the light source is inside both of the schwarzschild radii of a and b.
Hope this poorly explained diagram will help;
They're supposed to be identical
Thank you in advanced.
