Are the axes of rotation of galaxies isotropic? What would it mean if it was or was not?

I'm not sure if I'm wording it correctly. If I were to take all of the axes of rotations for all of the known galaxies and sum them together would they cancel out? What would it mean if they did, and what would it mean if they didn't?
