Hii So I have growth lamps giving light to my plants who don't get a full 4 to5 hours of sunlight. My question is... My lamps give off white light... It's a 'full spectrum" lamp...Now I've seen everywhere that says the growth lamp is good but is no comparison to the actual sun light. Which makes sense..but why? If the lamp gives off white light.. and there's no "secret sauce' in sun light.. what is the lamp's white lacking that the sun's whtie light has? If it's 'full spectrum' and by it's nature, white is a combination of all colors, isn't that the same spectrum as sunlight? So what' in the white light of the lamp is missing then? Is it a 'richer' light? What does that even mean? Isn't light light?
