Recruitment Positions: work/life balance? How is it?
Post Body

Hello all!

My current situation: been in the world of education for 15 years with 8 of those years as a school counselor for junior high and middle school. But the stress of school has pushed me to seek different work and take a break. I'd love to continue working with people in a different capacity. The idea of being a recruiter came to mind.

I have read up on different companies and the experience as a recruiter, some good and some not so good. The idea of traveling, networking, and assisting people in their hiring process intrigued me.

Can anyone give me more insight through an objective and subjective lens of the world of recruiting? I know thing are hard and it may not be the work/life balance I am looking for. But i am sure people have had exceptional experiences that made them who they are today. Your insight is important to me.

About me: interpersonal, empathetic, always considering needs of anyone. Not sure if this a strength or could put me in hot water lol Please let me know.
