I read online from a scientific source that people with ADHD often experience sensory processing problems. However, as far as I can tell, ADHD is often associated with hyper-sensitivity/hyper-responsiveness to external stimuli.
Are there some people with ADHD who experience hypo-sensitivity/hypo-responsiveness to external stimuli instead? If so, can this happen to all 3 subtypes of ADHD?
Edit: As someone in the comments have mentioned, I meant hypo-sensitivity unrelated to other comorbid disorders such as autism.
