What does struggling to filter out unimportant information in ADHD actually mean? Does that mean people with ADHD ACTIVELY and CONSCIOUSLY think about everything that they sense, or is it rather a subconscious brain processing problem that they can't be aware of (i.e. their brains putting in the extra effort processing unimportant information, even without knowing that they're processing it)?
