Hi, I'm kinda new to kayaking and am looking to buy one. Right now I have my heart set on a Advanced Elements inflatable, they are supposed to be the sturdiest inflatable kayaks ever made. However, with the acknowledgement of rising temperatures due to climate change and seeing pictures of things melting from the past weekend's temperatures being posted on /r/Portland, I am a bit worried how well it will hold up out there. I don't want to invest such a huge chunk of my income on something that is just going to melt in the sun in a year and have to be replaced, but I also need a super portable lightweight kayak because I can't drive and take public transit everywhere.
If you have any words of advice or kayak suggestions, I'd really appreciate it.
