Pre-covid, or in recent times- how did you build a friend circle or at least make more than one friend? I moved out here with a partner and to start my career. The partner failed but I'm determined to keep following my plan to settle down here. Family is all on the east coast. I have one friend from work but due to the nature of my job there aren't many more to be found there.

I know things are hard now but I am trying to scheme a future plan when life is normal again. What worked for you? Do meet ups help? I am in Beaverton but would consider moving into Portland if anyone thinks that would make a major difference in the experience.
